The Wisdom of Fresh Starts: Making This School Year Different

Written by: ASE Editorial Team

💫Where to find motivation and energy for a fresh start and optimize academic potential? Guess what?

The holidays are the biggest season of the year for parents, classroom teachers, special education teachers, educational consultants, tutors, mentors,... to assess student progress, development and academic achievements. And I know how much it can change things when you finally start seeing results from your hard work.

When I first started teaching, I could barely grasp how to make the curriculum work for the 15 beautiful faces looking at me before my first holiday season.

I used the holiday season to learn to align my knowledge intentionally, drawing up plans for each student, and leaning into the new year, everything shifted. That’s why I care so deeply about giving parents and educators the tools and support I wish I had back then.

Maybe I had the tools, but didn't know or understand how to use them. This is true especially for new teachers or maybe you've moved to a new school with a new curriculum.

I’ve shaped the next few months around holiday effects and supporting strategies, so you can go through the season with structure, clarity and a plan that helps you and your children optimize potential.

I've seen parents and educators who start early to plan and prepare for the school year make progress before the holidays even begin, and I can only imagine the wins you’ll celebrate once the new year rolls in.

To get started, I'm happy to announce that 🔷The ABC for School Smart Digest are officially available for download!

Based on the changes in my life during the summer holiday, the digest is among the educational support material I've worked on. I will try to highlight how the change contributed to the shift in how I work and provide content. What I feared to be for the worse actually turned out for the best. Change is not so bad after all. I will share more on this as well.

The ABC for School Smart Digest is not a quick fix, but just a little thinking outside the box and a down-to-earth approach to achieving and optimizing academic potential.

Perfect for the holidays is the digest on The Wisdom of Fresh Starts: Making This School Year Different. You don't have to wait for the new school year, grades or schedule to engage in fresh starts. Where you find yourself might just be the place to start again.

Starting over doesn't have to be a one-of action, it might require a little jump-start now and then.

That’s not ALL…!
